When Tony Shilling heard he had received these two prestigious awards, he was over the moon.

Pub of the Year 2000 and the CAMRA Gold Award 2000 were given to the pub by the Peterborough & District Branch for The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

In the last 5 years The Green Man has served 3000 different ales.  The pub has 15 real ales on site, with 7 available at any one time.

The combination of friendly, organised staff, a relaxed atmosphere and knowledge of good real ale has proved to be a winning one!
