Festival Information

HEALTH & SAFETY
For the safety of fellow festival goers and members of the public using the Meadows after the festival is over we do ask you to observe the following rules:

NO GLASS BOTTLES: Please help us keep the site safe for everyone by not bringing glass bottles on to the Meadows.  If you do want to bring your own drink please bring cans or decant your drink into plastic bottles. Better still, buy your drink at the Festival Beer Tent.  Prices are reasonable and profits are shared between festival funds and local charities.
NO BARBECUES:
With the large number of people on the site and particularly with children running around barbecues present a serious health and safety hazard.  There are a range of stalls serving both hot and cold food to suit all tastes on site so please leave the barbecues at home.
First Aid facilities
are provided on site by St John's Ambulance.  The First Aid tent is located next to the Information Tent on the Bath Row side of the Meadows.
Lost Children:
To report a lost child come to the Information Tent where we will contact security who will alert stewards around the site.

GETTING HERE
Location: The Riverside Festival is located on the Stamford Meadows in the centre of the town - the large white area on the map here.
Parking: The nearest car park is at the Cattle Market on Station Road.  Wharf Road car park is currently closed.  There is alternative parking at New College but if possible we advise that you use public transport.  Please note that there is no parking in Bath Row on the day of the festival as this space is reserved for performers and traders.
Railway Station: This is located right next to the Meadows off Station Road.  Check out train times to Stamford here.
Bus Station: This is located on the other side of the Meadows off Sheep Market.  There are a number of buses to and from Peterborough.  For times, follow this link and scroll down to 'Stamford'
