Taking place on Stamford Meadows on Saturday 7 July,
this year's Riverside Festival is operating in a 'back to the roots' format, but still with
three main stages featuring over thirty artists. We also have our ever popular Busker's Stage,
children's entertainment and fairground rides.
We have food stalls offering a selection of delicacies from
around the world and there are around 30 real ales and ciders, plus general drinks and an express can bar on
offer at our Beer Festival. When you need a break our stalls offer some retail therapy and we finish the
whole day off with a fantastic firework finale generously donated by 1605 fireworks.

STOP PRESS: Last minute changes to the published programme:
- Changes to the Riverside Stage line-up are as follows:
21:30 - 22:40 Bleeding Hearts
20:20 - 21:05 The Gangsters
15:45 - 16:20 Organise Chaos
All other acts are as published in the programme
- Due to the state of the meadows after the recent rains the layout of the
site has had to be changed. The marquee stage will be situated at the point near the Town
Bridge and the Acoustic Stage will be just to the right of the main entrance. For more information see
